🌻We had some excitement today, had the nicest woman volunteer to come and remove these honeybees from the goat pasture. A chore needing to be done way before now, but I let them stay until they became a nuisance in their location. An entire spool full of honeybees, we are talking tens of thousands, honeycomb and honey, top to bottom inside. The most wildest and coolest thing to see, and might I add the best tasting honey I’ve ever had!🌻🥂to our local bee warrior, thank you so much for your help, and the knowledge you gave me!🙏🏻🌻

🌻Hopeful to let the few existing bees find themselves a new home come morning 🤞, scrape the left honeycomb and bottle it up, and do some housekeeping out there! 🥰🌻

📣 No remaining pasture goats were harmed during this. They were just too stubborn to be locked up, so you get what you get! 🤭🤷🏻‍♀️

🌻It’s been rough around here the last week. If the heat doesn’t make you want to quit….one goat with a heavy worm load I’m thinking, despite being wormed three times in the last 2 months. Hoping she’s on the mend soon. Another with what I believe to be an injury to the lower part of her eye, maybe fence snagged or hay stem caught. While trying to look closely at her, she butted me and busted my upper lip open, which damn that area bleeds horribly by the way. At least I won’t need to contemplate getting some lip injections for a while. 🤭 I’ll have to re-evaluate her more tomorrow after I doctor myself up tonight. Then getting into the mule I was too focused on my lip bleeding everywhere and my two year old running in the pasture, I didn’t see the steel bar above me and busted the top of my head on it. 😢 I think I’ll quit for today and remember this sunset, without making any drastic decisions about life right now. 🤣🌻
