Today's question:

"What are country style ribs?"

Despite the name, they're actually boneless strips of pork loin from near the shoulder blade, not traditional ribs!

The marbling throughout these thick cuts gives them plenty of flavor and tenderness, and they’re versatile enough for all kinds of cooking methods.

🔥 Cooking tip: Treat them more like a thick pork chop and cook them low and slow. They’re great in the slow cooker, oven, or on the grill.

Today's question:

"Why is there string on the Porketta Roasts?"

That string is called butcher's twine, and it's there for a reason!

As the roast cooks, the twine helps it hold its shape so it cooks more evenly. It also keeps the seasoned pork loin tightly rolled together, helping lock in moisture and all that great flavor.

Just leave the twine on while it cooks, then snip and remove it before slicing and serving.

Porketta Roasts are on sale this week for only $3.99/lb! Deal ends Saturday night or while supplies last.

Midway Rd & North Cloquet Rd are OPEN!!! 🚗

You can reach us from the Midway exit on I-35 again! Work is still being done on Hwy 2 but we’re easier to access again.

A huge thank you to everyone who shared, detoured and supported us during the closure! We appreciate each and everyone of you!

Update: We’re just happy the road is open again! We had no part in the construction, and negative comments about the project will be removed.
