We had a productive morning here on the farm. Bunny cages are cleaned, grass is cut around the bees. Cows mowed down the grass in the turkey pen and Benz had her little calf. She did great and had him fast. Sticking with cars theme I named him Lincoln.

Baby chicks have arrived. Did you know that we order our baby chicks and they come via the mail? I got the phone call this morning at 7am so off I went to get them. I got back home and settled in and did all my chores before work at 8am. 🐣

Did you know that May 20th is World Bee Day?

We love our bees here in the farm. They are busy hauling in pollen this morning. Did you know that one of the first food sources for bees is dandelion pollen?

Fun fact:

Science shows that pigs themselves dream! Much like humans, they experience REM sleep, twitching and moving as they process their daily experiences of rooting for food and playing.
