We had -50 degree temps and our roof was leaking!
Man, this was a tough one. We had just had the stove put in, trusted someone to help us out and man did they let us down.

Ran out the door without finishing the job and left us hanging with a leaking roof.
Did we get it fixed?

Gypc here, and full transparency: I’m currently on the mend after an ER visit the night before last. You take some unexplained pains combined with lack of sleep and well... you get a very low battery, but I am resting up and taking it easy the best I can.

NOW listen here... before anyone turns into Dr. Bookoffaces in the comments... don't worry! Medical tests are being done, observation is happening, and on the homestead side, I’m doubling down on my wards, health stones, and plenty of Uno Reverse. 💫✨ (if ya know, ya know)

The garden is watered, apothecary work is still moving forward, and tonight’s blood moon eclipse marks a massive turning point. If you follow the moon cycles, tonight brings major closure to a chapter that began back in September 2024. It’s time to tie up those loose ends, offer gratitude to your ancestors and deities, and walk into September with a clear mind and open heart.

For my fellow practitioners out there: tonight isn't for heavy spell work. It’s a night for giving gratitude, closing chapters, and maybe a little quiet shadow work as the eclipse peaks.... just don't overdo it.

Rest up, release what no longer serves you, & as always...
Stay Feral Folks!🌲🖤

What are you releasing that started back in September of 2024? You don't have to comment, but it is definitely food for thought.

It is that time of the year to say Happy Earthborn day to two very special people in my life... my mother Karon-Dan and my son Paris Xavier

Instead of photo collages and cute little balloons or images, I took a video of our land after the rain with the sun beaming through the trees.

This... represents their day perfectly. The perfect imperfections of the land, the way the sun peeps through the tree tops, the wet leaves and grass shimmering... this is beauty.
This is them.

My mother is my first best friend. Always will be. We never had an easy relationship as I grew up but as we both got older, we became so much closer and now she is my biggest cheerleader. This month was hard though. She lost her father. I lost my papa. However, as we hold him in our hearts... we do it together, even long distance.

My son Paris.. the one I prayed to the gods for. He filled a hole in my heart that will never be replaced by anyone else. We have been through more together than most mother and sons. We have walked paths together that were not the best ones or the easiest ones yet we are still here and we are still standing. Life doesn't have to be fair or easy... if it was, it wouldn't be worth living. May he always know he is my ♾️ even in separation.

Hold your family close if they are near you. Appreciate them. Hold them. Today I hold memories of being in their presence during their earthborn day celebration. I flip through old photos and smile. I look forward to seeing them again soon... until then... protection, embraced in love, watched over and blessed with abundance are my requests on this day for them. So be it now and forever as I light candles in their names tonight.

Peace and feralness forever friends 🧡

This is absolutely 100% important to read.
You think you are supporting the right things? NAHH they like to re-label things to you are buying that imported crap because it is cheaper and helps fill the pockets of all the corps and 1%'s.
Why would they give a sh*te about you or your health? Have you READ the list of recalled foods now? I have never seen it so bad and I am in the medical field.
Buy your meat from the local butcher, yeah you pay more for it, but the good reasons to do this out weigh the expense upcharge. If you can't buy your meat from the butcher, because there isn't one around... then look for the stuff that says the label to the right!
Look I am not going to change everyone's mind.. hell people are still eating fast food products despite EVERYTHING that has come out about those, so yeah.. I am speaking to the people that actually give a crap.

I am deeply saddened for all of the AMERICAN BEEF RANCHERS & thier families.... 🥺 I apologize for what is happening right now. 🫶

We stand with you. As we, The Hayes', were once YOU! I truly hope and pray people are paying attention and buying American Beef.. 🙏

Consumers please understand this isn't a win... Cheaper Beef isn't the solution. This is such a massive blow and loss, and will affect many, many American Beef Farming Farmilies.

I cannot imagine the gut punch feeling of waking up to this devastating News. 😭😢

I completely understand, how from the consumer side, this may feel like a win. But it's not. Please understand when a a win hurts hundreds to thousands of Beef farming families it's NOT a win. And though Beef prices may temporarily drip, understand this isn't viable, not for the consumer, not for the farmer, and not as a whole for thr Ag community of families, who work tirelessly to feed you.

If you aren't buying direct NOW, more than ever, is the time to put your money where your mouth is... Stand up and show the Ag community you stand with American Farming Families, not above them, but beside them. 🫶

Ignore the US Flag on labels. USDA inspected doesn't mean: born, raised, and slaughtered in the US..
Look for 👉 "Born & Raised in the US".. This means born, raised, and slaughtered in the US. Even Product of the USA doesn't necessarily mean born and raised in the US. Beef packagers want to confuse you. Don't be confused by their false advertising practices. Know the difference. Knowledge is Power. 💪

God Bless American Farmers. 🙌 🇺🇸

Ok feral folks !! Here it is!!!
The Feral Love Story: Part 4.... The Birthday Trip & The First Snow

We left off after our first trip together, it was amazing and magical, to say the least. But what happened next, you ask? Was it love at first sight?

Gunnar and I had the chance to get to know each other deeply before any physical communication... if you know what I mean. 😉 So by the time we met, we were already falling in love, but then it was time for the big birthday trip... 4 nights and 5 days!! Oh boy!

I was in a hurry to get back... not only to Gunnar, but to Minnesota, it was growing on me. The air was so clean, the peace was unreal and the people were yup... Minnesota Nice. At the time, Gunnar lived in an amazing two-story house with a tiny cabin in the back, sitting on over two acres of beautiful, twisty old oaks and maples right in the heart of a quaint central Minnesota town. He would show me photos and put me on video just to show the leaves slightly changing color. I knew I had to see it in person.

So, I booked a longer getaway for my birthday: flying out on Thursday and staying through Monday. It was going to be great!

Little did I know, Gunnar had all kinds of plans tailored around conversations we’d shared over the past year. When I landed, there he was at the airport.... standing there in a full suit to pick me up! How romantic!

Gunnar remembered me talking about childhood nostalgia eating White Castle burgers and drinking A&W Root Beer in Michigan, so our very first stop was White Castle on our way to Anoka... the Halloween Capital of the US. We did thrifting, walked around the town and enjoyed a fun day together. Then he drove us to Taylors Falls for a picnic and to see the peak autumn colors. Oh my goodness... the reds, golds, and shimmering details!! the drive alone was enough to bring tears to your eyes. Walking the trails alongside the rushing water was breathtaking.

At one point, we stopped by a massive oak tree. Gunnar reached up and caught a falling leaf right above our heads. I snapped a photo of the three of us: him, me, and that falling leaf. That day... that exact moment... was when I realized I was truly, deeply falling in love with him.

It was chilly to say the least but we headed over to Franconia Sculpture Park, had another amazing picnic while wandering through the giant artwork made from discarded items and recycled materials. We even carved our initials into some wood (shh! G + G). Afterward, we hit a local pumpkin patch for fresh cheese curds, warm donut holes, and apple cider. Oh yum!! I was completely hooked.

But Gunnar wasn’t the only one with surprises.... it appears that Minnesota had a birthday gift for me, too.

On my birthday morning, I woke up to Gunnar saying, "Happy Birthday... look outside, Minnesota is giving you a gift."

I looked out the window and IT WAS SNOWING!

In pure excitement, I ran neked all the way downstairs, out the door, and straight into the snow. Gunnar laughed, taking it all in, before being sweet enough to run out with a heavy robe and slippers. (Oh yeah... snow is cold! LOL.)

It was pure magic. After Gunnar gave me my gift.. he hand carved an owl from a stone he found at Mount Rushmore... we spent the day carving the pumpkins we’d picked, decorating the yard, and feeling a level of love and happiness I had never felt before. The feeling was mutual... which made leaving that Monday devastating. There wasn't a dry eye between us at the airport.

How do two people living completely different lives across the country make a relationship work? Was there any real hope for us to be together when we both had established careers, homes, and families in separate states?

Well... maybe Gypc could convince him to move to LA. Next up: a trip out to meet the adult kids, the fur babies, and see what city life is all about.

Stay tuned for Part 5 of... The Feral Love Story, Gone Feral™ Edition!
