After a 1 and 1/2 year absence from the KCBS circuit, it was good to knock off the rust in Waxhaw, NC at the Grillin & Chillin BBQ cook-off. Despite the weather, we were lucky enough to bring home a 3rd place in Brisket. It was great to be cooking again!

Cooked a "Texas Style" brisket today with a simple salt and pepper rub and wrapped in butcher paper. It came out great!

This 50 pound feed sack of empty shotgun shell hulls tells the story from our first full day of hunting in Argentina. Josh had a grand total of 2011 birds! Big had a total of 678 and the Chief had a total of 266. That gave us a GRAND TOTAL of 2,955! What an unbelievable day! Looking forward to tomorrow!
