Let me know what I can make for you. This Saturday will be all bagels. Wednesday June 10 will be round loaves; plain and rosemary. Saturday June 13 is undecided. Most likely bagels again.

I will not be baking the last weekend of June-July 5 and will start back Wednesday June 8.

Good afternoon! Happy Saturday! It is my daughter’s birthday weekend, so there is only family baking going on. However, be on the lookout for a new baking schedule. Final teacher workdays are coming up and I will be baking 2-3 days a week. This will include cookies, bagels, and round loaves for now. I will post a menu when I decide which days these items will be available. I also have several recipes that I want to experiment with.

I’ve been making sour dough cinnamon rolls from my mom’s recipe for 20 years. I would like to start adding those in too. Would anyone be interested? Let me know in the comments. Im@excited to have more time this summer!

Did a little experimenting over the last 24 hours. This one is rosemary from our garden and Asiago cheese. It has to cook for about it an hour, but I’m dying to cut into it. You can hear it crackling as it cools.

This weekend’s focus will be cookies. I’m baking on Saturday. Snickerdoodle, Double Chocolate Chip, and White Chocolate-Strawberry. These are sold in 6 and 12 packs. They are 6/$11 and $12/$22. I will not be taking bagel orders.

Next weekend I am off for my daughter’s birthday and the week after that school will be over and I will be able to bake more than once a week. Stay tuned for that schedule. Thank you so much for all you’ve ordered and loved so far!

Well. Not what I expected this evening. Benji called me while out watering. There was a swarm in one of our blueberry bushes. Not sure if they swarmed from our own hives. I did check the one I thought it might be, and they were totally fine.

I didn’t have my aim quite right trying to get them into the box on the first round. You can see in the third video that the bees are still racing ip the branches to get back to their queen. In the next ones you can see that they are matching into the box. She is in there. 🫅 🐝

This colony is now boxed up and fed and resting with the other five. I’ll leave them alone at least until the weekend and see how they are doing then. Can’t say no to free bees. 💵 🐝

Also gotta hand it to my daughter’s boyfriend. He stuck right with it watching the whole time. My own children ran for the hills. 🏔️ 🏃‍♀️

Sparrow Creek Farm Bagels are backkkk!!! You have got to try a club sandwich on an everything or jalapeño cheddar bagel. It’ll make this Tuesday the best one ever!

We have more eggs than we know what to do with. These are farm fresh and unwashed. They last weeks and weeks on the counter and months in the fridge. Please let me know if you are local and would like any. Can do porch pick up.
