The girl behind the name.
When Calliope was born, we imagined we’d call her Poppy, that was, until we met her. Some how, Boom Boom just fit. She has always been larger than life and the biggest fan of my bacon. I would put her to bed and get cooking. The scent would fill our home and I’d hear her little 2 year old hands trying to open her bedroom door to get to the bacon. She’ll be 6 in a few weeks (hard to believe) and she still comes running every time the scent of my sweet and spicy bacon fills the air.
