Dried herbs have many benefits for your chickens. Learning how I can make my eggs healthier and tastier has been a fascinating journey. We also care ALOT about the health and wellbeing of our chickens. This is my magical mix and why.
Oregano π: Strengthens the immune system, improves gut health and is a natural antibiotic, rich in antioxidants and improves the quality of their eggs.
Parsley π±: Packed with essential vitamins and minerals, aids in blood vessel development and stimulates egg laying.
Red Pepper Flakes πΆ : Improves gut health, deters ticks, mites, lice and intestinal parasites. Enriches the nutrional value of their eggs and gives richer yolks.
Flax seed π±: Rich in Omega-3, aids digestion and brain development. Also enriching nutritional value and richer, deeper colored yolk.
Chia seed π±: Nutrient dense. Rich in fiber, omega-3 fats, protein, vitamins and minerals.
H**p seedπ±: contains all 20 essential amino acids that chickens need for growth and maintenance. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for stronger shells and healthier yolks. Packed with vitamin E and zinc that support reproductive health and boost immunity.
Garlic π§: Improves immune system, deters mites, natural dewormer. Good for overall health and helps with egg production.
Cinnamon π€: Antifungal, Antibacterial, Antiviral. Repels mites. Improves digestion and immune function.
Cayenne πΆ: Improves bloodflow, has Vitamins A and C. Enhances digestion and gives their yolk a more vibrant orange hue.
