WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES!!!!!!!
We are straight into the thick of the tomato season on the first day!!!!! We will have our own field tomatoes at every stand starting Monday morning, July 20 and have them every day til Halloween, Ahhhhh, Summah.' We have had a few heirloom and cherry tomatoes this past week but we have not picked any regular tomatoes til today.
Please dont ask me for canning tomatoes yet, there may be 1 or 2 here and there, wait a week or 2 and I will have plenty, dont rush.

Tomato Update
July 13, 2026
Greenhouse tomatoes are done.
My field tomatoes are doing fantastic. I'm starting to see a touch of color on them, still a week away from picking any amount of them.
I did get with a farm in New Jersey and got a truckload of vine ripened, stake grown, field tomatoes. They are the same early variety that I grow, the same way that I grow them. They are real tomatoes, just happen to be from a couple hundread miles south where it's a bit warmer. Its the best I can do this week, I think you will be happy with the taste!
All the mini cherry and grape tomatoes are now coming in slowly. I had a few over the weekend and I'll pick more in a day or 2.

I got these handy dandy color cards at The Home Depot today, it's hard being a colorblind farmer.
1 is for Checking your farmer tan, I'm 3 levels past "Suntan", I'm actually "Spiced Cider" so thats pretty cool!!!
The other is for checking Blueberries and my Blueberries match "Blueberry Patch" so that must mean its time to PICK YOUR OWN BLUEBERRIES!!!!!!!

Pick Your Own Blueberries is now open July, 2 2026 everyday from 8 to 7!!!
$5.99 per pound, same as last year.
We sometimes have some pre picked blues in the stand, but not always.
Strawberries will last a couple more days, the 5 rows to the far left are the only good variety left.
Cherries will go a few more days as well.
Summer and Zucchini squash, Beans, cukes and pickles are ready now and corn is about 3 days away. Haywards, The Big 1, and Woodmont stands will all open in a few days once the corn is ready.

Pick Your Own Strawberries will be closed today for 1 day only. We got over 2" of rain and its too muddy out there. Pick your own Cherries is still open today, the orchard grass is wet, but not muddy.

Ruth says its time to pick, nobody argue with Momma! Pick your own Strawberries will open Tuesday morning June 9th 2026 at 8 am and be open every day 8 to 7 for about a month. We have a HUGE NEW BED this year of 32 rows. The rows are all 700 feet long and 8 beautiful varieties. Wendy is ripe right now and Galetta will be ripe by Tuesday giving pickers 7,000 feet of picking, yes, that's right, over a mile of berries ready for opening day!!!!
Price per pound is $4.99 pick your own.
Pre Picked quarts are $12.99 each.
Cherries start about June 23 and Blueberries about July 4th.
Bring your own containers or buy one of ours to hold your fruit.
