If you’ve been waiting for lamb today is your day. 1/2 and whole lambs are ready to have a deposit made and then be delivered in November.

If you have the freezer space buying half (or even a whole) lamb is a great budget friendly way to stock up!

Here’s how it breaks down.
•1 rack
•12 lamb loin chops
•1 leg of lamb
•1 shoulder roast
•16 lbs of ground lamb
•soup bones

It all adds up to 45-50 pounds of meat for the freezer!

A tip for tri-tip roasts!!

When we think roasts low and slow is the typical cooking technique but not with a tri-tip roast. This comes from a leaner cut of beef and is very flavorful but over cooking it you do not want to do!

Apply a delicious rub (we like S&P, garlic & thyme) and allow the meat to come to room temperature before cooking. Cook at 425 for 20 mins/pound. Allow to cool slightly and then slice against the grain. That too is key!!

Last week marked the 1 year anniversary of . 🎉

It started with my freezer full of lamb being shipped directly to you. To whole and half lambs being delivered to customers across the state. Connections made and grown. 🖤

And along the way you’ve been asking for beef. Welllll last week I tested my vehicles capacity limits and loaded it up with Lazy H beef!! Deliveries were made and freezers were filled!! If you missed it or maybe don’t have the room for 1/4 of beef stay tuned…individual cuts and smaller bundles will be online soon.

In the meantime thank you all for the support. And lamb fans—1/2 and whole orders will be opening up the first of October so be looking for that!!!

Hey don’t look now but these sheep are doing what ruminant animals do best!

The cattle corrals are empty during the summer so naturally weeds grow up in places. They also grow up in and around equipment and trailers. Fortunately for them (and me😅) it was easy to put up some fencing and allow them to enjoy the offerings. Yay for ruminant animals…no waste!
