Butterfly Pea Flower Tea From the Garden 💙 | Rol Shows Us How to Make It!

We’re turning our homegrown butterfly pea flowers into a beautiful blue tea! 💙🌿 Rol shows us how to harvest and prepare butterfly pea flower tea straight from the garden.

But we’re not stopping there. In Part 2, we’re using Ponderosa lemons from our yard to turn this tea into a fresh butterfly pea lemonade—and watch what happens to that gorgeous blue color when the lemon hits!

From garden to glass. 💙🍋🌿

Today we made our very first batch of Butterfly Pea Tea Lemonade using butterfly pea flowers and Meyer lemons picked fresh from our garden, finished with a sprig of rosemary. Watching the deep blue tea transform into a beautiful violet with fresh lemon juice never gets old—it feels like a little bit of everyday magic.

Here’s to growing our own food, trying new things, and celebrating the simple moments together. Cheers! 🥂

Would you try a glass of butterfly pea tea lemonade?

From tree… to bottle. 🍷✨

One of the joys of growing your own food is discovering new ways to enjoy the harvest. This jug of homemade starfruit w**e started with fruit picked fresh from our backyard tree and transformed into something worth sharing.

Every season teaches us something, and every harvest has a story.

Have you ever made w**e, jam, or another homemade treat from fruit you grew yourself? We’d love to hear about it!

A big thank you to Lisa for stopping by the garden today! 🌿💚

She left with two sorrel plants, a pigeon pea plant, and a banana tree to help grow her edible garden. And because we love sharing the abundance, we tucked in a few bonus plants too! 🌱✨

There’s something special about watching plants find new homes. We hope they thrive and provide Lisa with years of fresh food and joy.

Happy growing, Lisa! Be sure to keep us updated—we’d love to see your garden flourish! 🌺🍌🌿

Thank you, mango trees, for such a bountiful harvest this year. 🥭💚

You nourished us with sweet, sun-ripened fruit straight from the tree, inspired us to get creative in the kitchen, and gave us more than enough to share with family and friends.

This season brought us:
🥭 Fresh mangoes
🥭 Mango jam
🥭 Mango pops
🥭 Mango salad
🥭 Mango fresca
🥭 Mango lassi
🥭 Mango smoothies
🥭 Fresh-baked mango bread

There is something deeply rewarding about growing your own food and sharing the abundance with the people you love. We’re grateful for every fruit and already looking forward to next season.

What was your favorite way to enjoy mangoes this year? 💛
