POV: I love to eat Lilikoi straight from the shell. Anyone else?

Did you know that if you sprinkle a little salt on your Lilikoi that it will taste less sour? Tell us in the comments your favorite way to eat passion fruit.

Flowers spotted on the Rollinia

Also known as a custard apple, the Rollinia fruit tastes like banana, pineapple, coconut, all in a custardy fruit. A true tropical delight!

The fruit is light green with a semi-spikey, but soft texture. Stay tuned!

Our dwarf red banana is FINALLY making fruit 🍌❤️

We used to have a red banana plant years ago and the bananas were insanely good… but it got infected with bunchy top. It took us years to track down another plant, so this feels so exciting!

A traditional Hawaiian banana with a salmon-pink interior.

Introduced to Hawaii from Tahiti and other pacific islands, this banana has one of the shortest crop cycles. They only take 65-75 days from the first appearance of a bud to be ready to harvest. A common Apple Banana takes about 169 days - more than twice as long!! That means more bananas, more often, and who doesn’t love that?!

The name, Iholena, means “yellow core”. And compared to an Apple Banana, you can easily see the difference. Fresh Iholena tastes slightly sweet and a little tangy.

These bite size pieces out of the dehydrator are perfect to add to cereals, DIY trail mix, or just for snacking. They have just the right amount of sweetness and the perfect chew. They will be available soon for purchase! Follow for more updates.

When life gives you lemons…

You turn them into beautiful sunny slices and slowly dehydrate them.

Dehydrated lemons have endless uses. Lay them on top of fish or chicken, use them in soups and stews, add to rice or quinoa, or even baked goods. Grind or crumble them if you just want some zest. Of course adding them to hot tea is always a fave.

What’s your favorite way to use them?

Praying hands banana 🙏🍌

Have you ever seen such a beautiful bunch of bananas?! Everyone’s first reaction: “They don’t even look real!”
This our first bunch of praying hands. We planted the tree over a year ago. It was worth the wait!

Said to be from Southeast Asia and unique because the hands are “fused” together. They are sweet, tart and have a pillowy texture.

Papaya rollups are out of the dehydrator. Papaya’s are mostly water so these shrunk a lot.

Just a squeeze of lemon and a little (I mean little) bit of sugar is all that’s added. Did you know that sugar is a natural preservative for color and flavor?

Tell me in the comments what flavor you want to see next.
