New nachos at are delicious!!! They have a brand new cheese sauce that’s super yummy! If near Redondo Beach, must try these (and everything else on the menu)! This has been my favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant whenever I’m in LA staying with and we’ve all become friends. When they found out I love nachos, they dropped some off on our doorstep to try. Did I mention they have a record player in the restaurant??? How cool is that!!!

Stop 3 on our nacho tour of Redondo…we are stuffed but ordered them anyway. We can make chilaquiles in the morning with the leftovers lol. These are delicious with Muenster cheese and house pickled jalapeños that have just the right amount of sweetness. Nom nom nom. It’s been a night.

Stop 2 of our Redondo Beach nacho tour is .la in the Hollywood Riviera. Crispy chips, a plethora of meat, vegetarian, and seafood proteins to choose from. Fresh jalapeños chopped on top and superb layering, almost all the chips had toppings. Our server, Peter, was fabulous and funny and got us yummy tequila right away.

Nachos por vida. We got beyond beef so Dr. Shananigans could enjoy them with us! The chips are sprinkled with tajin giving them that extra pop and the cheese is melted all over. Also has black beans, guacamole, pick de gallo, and crema drizzled on top. Our wonderful server, Will, brought us out some house made hot sauce with a kick that was muy delicioso. A little bit pricy but everything looks yummy on the menu.

We found an Irish pub right away, because of course we did. They have two kinds of nachos on the menu, traditional pub nachos and Irish Nachos. let me decide so I went with the Irish ones. They are so cheesy and delicious! Thinly sliced potatoes smothered in melted cheese, fresh bacon, sour cream, and green onions. Nom nom nom nom. They pour a nice drink here too. Glad we stopped in.

Nacho night is BAAAAACK! Mahalo to everyone who came out for our first nacho night since the pandemic.

It was a little sad because we are saying goodbye to and who are leaving the island.

It was a little different because there were so many adorable little kids this time! Lots has changed since March 2020!

Overall it was a lot of delicious fun!

Mahalo to and the owner for hosting us for the night. The nachos (and everything else we tried) were overwhelmingly a hit by young and old. Special thanks to our chefs and Scott for making the delicious food! And for for taking care of our huge party of 30+ people so courteously and attentively.

If you want to try these super yummy nachos for yourself, they are available on the Late Night menu from 11pm-1am every day. The chips are fried to order so they will never be stale. They are covered with generous portions of nacho cheese, kalua pork, diced pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo, and salsa. Get in my belly!

Leahi Bar and Grill is open every day from 8am-2am serving up breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night food. Daily happy hour from 4-6pm and nightly live music by varying local artists from 6pm-9pm. Located on the corner of Koa Ave and Uluniu Street, Leahi Bar and Grill is 100% locally owned and operated.
