Yesterday was a HUGE milestone for me, and today was a bump in the road—but that’s okay.

Yesterday, I celebrated an incredible blessing by receiving the grand prize Hopkinsville Small Business Grant. Today, I was humbled by learning that some of the way I had been operating wasn’t completely correct. While it was difficult to hear, I’m thankful I found out now so I can make the necessary changes and continue moving forward the right way.

I’m human, and I make mistakes. My heart has always been to run Bluegrass Bowls with honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve our community. When I make a mistake, I’ll take responsibility, learn from it, and do everything I can to make it right.

I truly believe God doesn’t waste our setbacks. Sometimes He uses them to teach us, refine us, and prepare us for what’s ahead. This is just another part of the journey, and I’m trusting Him to guide every step.

Bluegrass Bowls isn’t going anywhere. I’m more committed than ever to serving our community, operating the right way, and continuing to work toward my dream of opening a storefront.

To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and believed in this dream—thank you. Your kindness, patience, and encouragement mean more than you know. I’m grateful for every lesson and every opportunity to grow.

I don’t even know where to begin…
My heart is so full.

Today Bluegrass Bowls was selected to receive the Hopkinsville Small Business Grant, and I am incredibly thankful. I was so excited and nervous ( definitely do not have the hang of public speaking just yet but I wanted to say ..)

Just a few months ago, this business was simply an idea. I questioned myself more times than I can count, wondered if I was making the right decision, and prayed for God to open the right doors if this was the path He had for me. Since then, I’ve experienced so much support from our community, and today feels like another reminder that hard work, faith, and perseverance truly matter.

To everyone who has ordered a bowl, shared a post, encouraged me, or believed in this dream—thank you. You may not realize it, but you’ve played a part in helping this little dream grow into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

I’m thankful to my family for standing beside me through the long days, late nights, and every challenge along the way. Most of all, I’m thankful to God for His guidance and for opening doors I never could have opened on my own.

This grant isn’t the finish line—it’s another step forward. I’m excited to keep growing, serving our community, and seeing where this journey leads.

Thank you, Hopkinsville, for believing in Bluegrass Bowls. This is only the beginning!!
