Several EF / Tunis.

6 are 3 months old - 3 ewes, 3 rams. Could make a couple starter flocks from these.

Mamas in milk with babies. Mamas are just over a year (born last March) babies born 2 weeks ago. 4 ewes with single rams and one with boy girl twins.

Option of a ram same age as moms in milk for breeding.

Organically fed, rotating pasture, no spray hay, no vax.

Great milk, meat, and wool.

What do you need? This is what we have ๐Ÿ™‚

If anyone is so inclined, we added a few things to our Amazon wish list we could really use. Several are high priority.

Piglet fence! We use this short fencing for our meat bird set up. (No, we no longer raise pigs but use the short fencing) ๐Ÿ™‚

Waterers! The ones we have have been baked in the sun and some froze over the winter. Been repairing old ones the best we can but could use several!

Tires for the sxs! We have to fill one of the tires with air daily - the rest of the tires are bald ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Feeding bowls! Can never have enough bowls for feeding the sheep and holding the minerals. Some seem to disappear too ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

TYIA! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’•

You're walking the Appalachian Trail and at mile 274, the wilderness does something it almost never does. It hands you a town.

Not a road crossing. Not a resupply box at a post office window. A full town, with blazes etched into the sidewalk concrete to keep you on track between the Smoky Mountain Diner and the hot springs. Our town is one of the only places on the entire AT where the trail and Main Street are the same thing.

Head north and the trail finds the French Broad, walking beside the river before it lifts you up to Lover's Leap. The valley opens wide. You see why hikers stop here. You start to understand why some of them never really leave.

Town & Trail Festival is May 1 & 2. Two free days to celebrate the trail, the river, and the community that's made a home here beside both of them. Come see for yourself.

Are you looking for aโ€‹n intentional way of life within aโ€‹ faith based community?

We are looking for โ€‹fโ€‹olks who feel called to live simply, build community, and serve others with Christ at the center.

โ€‹Mountainside is a โ€‹508 non-profit ministry farm on 40 mountain acreโ€‹s. There are 5 private cabins on site for community living. โ€‹Two of the cabins are for sale, 2 more are available for rent.

We raise sheep for milk, meat and wool and chickens for meat and eggs. We have a high tunnel and greenhouse for growing fresh produce.

The primary mission of the farm is to grow fresh, healthy food and get it into the hands of those in need in our local community.

Education is a big part of the ministry. We believe itโ€™s important to help people learn how to raise their own food, care for animals, and eat in a healthier, more sustainable way.

There are opportunities for individuals or families to raise their own animals on the property, within the shared stewardship of the land.

Life here is hands-on and intentional: farm work, caring for animals, occasional shared meals, weekly Bible Study, learning together, and serving others. This is real farm lifeโ€‹ - hard, rewarding, and meaningful.

This may be a good fit for people who:

- Desire a Christ-centered, service-oriented community
- Feel called to ministry through food, education, and hospitality
- Are open to shared work, responsibility, and simple living
- Want to be part of something focused on giving, not just self-sufficiency

โ€‹The cabins for rent are similar to the one bedroom listed for sale.

โ€‹If this resonates with you, โ€‹let us know.
