We are private chef services that specialize in charcuterie boards and grazing tables. An Apero is a French tradition of gathering at a family or friend's home before a meal for drinks, small bites, and good conversation. From this tradition, we get the charcuterie boards and grazing tables that we have come to know and love. "Apero des Amis" literally translates into "Apero with friends". We hope

Hi! I'd like to introduce myself since we have so many new followers!

My name is Tanya and I'm the owner of Apero. But I'm not the only face behind the business. I've got such a huge support group! My husband, my daughters, my parents and my close friends all work behind the scenes to make my little dream a reality and I couldn't do this without them!

I started just making a few boards during the pandemic to pass the time and heal my heart because I missed our weekly gathering together with friends and family. That morphed into little grazing tables, then bigger tables, then finally, to a family friend asking me to do a table for her daughter's wedding. When the Wedding Venue's owner asked for my card, I was shocked. I wasn't a professional and I was already part owner of a business and couldn't IMAGINE starting another one!

Fast forward to countless prayers, discussions, and encouragement from my amazing husband, girls, and parents and we bit the bullet and took a chance. Our website went live October of 2024 and soon after Lucky's Jewler took a chance on us for their Black Friday Sale and the business just took off! Sometimes the days were easy and fun. Sometimes they were stressful and I doubted whether I could pull off all of my client's visions. But each day, I was thankful for the opportunity to try.

I never would have believed that 2025 would have been the year where so many of you trusted us with your special occasions. So thank you! This has been a lot of hard work and a few mini meltdowns, but ultimately you've given my family a chance to spend MORE time together and you've given me a chance to do something that brings me joy.

To all the professionals that I've worked with, Deep South Oil & Vinegar , Swell Design & Media , Shannon Knight Bella , Breakin' The Code Houma's Escape Game, and all the others that took a chance on me, thank you for your support and your words of wisdom! I've learned so much from your kindness, advice, and talent!

Sooooo this is an EXTREMELY long post to say THANK YOU! You'll never know how much all of your support means to our little family and we hope to keep bringing good food and service to you for many years to come!
