Office/HR coordinator
Day shift Monday-Friday
Summary/Objective
We are looking for a skilled Office Coordinator to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. An excellent office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.

Office Manager Functions
• Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, coordinate permits, vehicle registrations
• Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
• Serve as administrative support to all departments on the plant such as operations, production, accounting, and executives
• Participates in administrative management meetings and takes minutes
• Make travel arrangements for executives.
• Coordinate and direct office services, such as utilities and disposal services, personnel, and housekeeping
• Communicate and maintain inventory in third party warehousing.
• Set delivery and shipping appointments
• Receive sales orders and communicate to client about status
• Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and equipment
• Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail, and packages
HR Functions
• Administers the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures;
• Maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
• Conducts recruitment effort for all non-exempt personnel
• Conducts new-employee orientation.
• Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Processes non-exempt payroll
• Assists supervisors and managers in delivering and recording disciplinary actions
• Plans, develops and delivers necessary training for employees
• Manages workers comp claims
• Responds to payroll audits and unemployment claims
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
