We will be offering individual lunches occasionally. The days we offer these will be very inconsistent with basically no rhyme or reason. We may sell out of some of these very quickly because some things we may only have a handful of. So when we do offer these individual lunches jump on them because they probably won’t be available tomorrow.

We catered a beautiful wedding at a beautiful new facility in Chambers County this evening. A beautiful facility with great people. I only got salad pictures before I got real busy. We have a couple brides birthday cards king with us at Magnolia Grove this year. I heard one of my favorite quotes tonight, “Best wedding food ever!” That’s what we do. We make food special, for your special day, and help make it a day, not only you, but your guests, friends, and family will never forget.

Seasons come and seasons go. This was our last crawfish boil of the season. It’s been a tough season for the farmers. They got a late start and an early finish. The quality of these were not optimal, but we made them taste great. Now it’s time for the dog days of summer, but that just means football and hunting season is around the corner.

Graduation parties are wrapping up, crawfish are dying out, it’s too hot for outdoor events, so we fall back to the old trusty corporate lunches. We showed off some new items today for the start of summer. We have our club sandwich with house smoked turkey and spiral ham, a fatty brisket gyro, and a refined chicken michoacana. It’s a 16 oz. boneless chicken quarter marinated over night in chiles, citrus, garlic, and cilantro then grilled and topped with some grilled tomatoes, peppers, and onions. A hefty, delicious piece of meat for a great price if you are feeding a group. What can we cook for you?

I once had a chef tell me that being a chef isn’t necessarily being able to cook everything better than everybody, it’s also having the discerning taste to know when something is better than you can produce. Being able to discern quality products from inferior ones. In the past, I hadn’t given much thought to corn products. Basic pantry items. Corn meal was corn meal, I knew stoneground grits were better than instant. opened my eyes. Their corn meal, corn flour, and grits are miles superior to any other I have had. Corn bread, fried fish breading, or savory grits have all drank great praise from guests when I serve them. A noticeable difference. It’s milled fresh on the weekends and shipped out on Mondays. I’ll never take corn meal for granted again!

This time of year is full of graduation parties and company picnics. The menu for most of these events is the same for the most part. Spring means crawfish and that’s what we do. We do a little more than crawfish though, we also do brisket. I don’t know many places you can call and get crawfish cooked on-site and brisket carved to order, but that’s our thing this time of year. We call it the Grad package and we do a lot of it April through early June. What can we do for you?

We served 800 ribeyes to a group today for lunch. It was the biggest event in our companies history, and it could not have been smoother. Some companies feel like we only do smaller groups, some companies think we only do big events, and some people think we only do upscale events, but believe us when we say we do everything. I could not be more proud of our company, our team, our family.

Fresh is the name of the game. We cook fresh daily! It seems basic, but the amount of food presented to customers not prepared fresh is incredible. Less people are really cooking. It’s incredible to think how chefs are becoming more rare as restaurants switch to “kitchen managers” to maximize profits with already prepared items. It feels great when we deliver lunch and someone opens the door with a smile and says. “Yay! It’s the people with the fresh vegetables.” We are really cooking here and we really are chefs.

Monday…phewww! It was a Monday! I think Mondays are made for something clean and simple to eat after a weekend of shenanigans. Today we served grilled chicken breast topped with some simple grilled onions, tomatoes, and peppers. We sent it with some oven roasted cauliflower and sautéed spinach. Lots of veggies and vitamins to get you back to 100 for the week after a long Sunday funday. If you’re from the boot, Mondays are for beans. Red beans, andouille sausage, rice, and cornbread. Either one surely brightened up these folks’ Monday!

We are providing meals for a turnaround going on which means day time and night time meals 7 days a week. We are the one stop shop when you are feeding folks for multiple days because we don’t just provide a single cuisine, we can do Cajun one day and bbq the next and Mexican food, then just some good old fried foods. We also provide some great salads and meatless entrees for folks that are into that kind of thing. These are some items from lunch today.
