"Hanging weight" or "Rail Weight" is how we sell our beef. Market price per pound hanging weight paid to us ... plus processing cost for entire animal estimated at $1/lb + $75 paid to the Processor. Processor custom cuts and packages your beef according to your specifications. You pickup frozen beef in boxes from the Processor.

Two steers available for processing in 4 - 6 weeks. Reserve a whole steer today for $500 or a half steer for $300. Price is still $4/lb hanging weight for the whole steer (plus processing cost). Call for more details.

As a variation from cooking a chuck roast the traditional way, I tried smoking a chuck roast on the pellet grill a couple weeks ago instead. Won't cook 'em any other way now. Smoke 'em for 3 hours at 225F, then another hour at 300F. Here's two I smoked yesterday evening. Wish y'all had some of what I've been smokin' !
