This past weekend, Katz Coffee proudly supported the TX Runs Houston Stars & Stripes Marathon, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the PTSD Foundation of America - Camp - Hope. June is PTSD Awareness Month, a crucial time to bring attention to the challenges faced by those living with PTSD and to highlight the support systems available to them. 🇺🇸

We were thrilled to witness 1,200 dedicated runners participate in the marathon, 10k, and 5k races, all putting in time and sweat to benefit the PTSD Foundation Of America and Camp Hope. A special shoutout to Stefano Schol, who secured first place in the 5K race. Your determination and spirit are truly inspiring! 🏃‍♂️

Events like the Stars & Stripes Marathon play a vital role in supporting the PTSD Foundation of America and their mission. At Katz Coffee, we are committed to contributing to such important causes and bringing awareness to the struggles and resilience of those affected by PTSD.

Hey Katz fam!

The severe weather and storm yesterday caused damage to our headquarters at 2400 Karbach St. and power outages.

Today, we were running on limited staff to help identify the damages and fixes needed. Please stay tuned for another update from us on Monday morning.

Another year, another incredible Empty Bowls Houston event! Our Katz Coffee team was proud to participate once again in this year’s event!

Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort by artists and craftspeople in cities and towns across the country to feed the hungry in their communities. Empty Bowls Houston is implemented locally by Houston-area ceramists and artists working in various media, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, and the Houston Food Bank

This year, Empty Bowls Houston raised an impressive $36,823 in bowl sales! With sponsors, additional donations & Archway Gallery exhibition, the total raised this year is an astounding $61,766!

This will provide 185,298 meals! A very special shoutout to all the sponsors and to everyone who came by and supported the event; thank you for filling empty bowls!
