Hello, sweet friends!

Have you joined us over at the Curious Quilt Society yet?

I’ve teamed up with three wonderful designer friends to create a place where we can share our love of quilting, stitching, new projects, a little inspiration, and, of course, plenty of fun along the way!

Our very first Curious Quilt Society project is Harvest Whispers, and right now we’re having a little fun keeping our blocks a mystery. Each designer is sharing sneak peeks and keeping you guessing before the reveals begin!

For my mystery block, I’m stitching with fabrics from my Awakening collection with Riley Blake Designs. I love how these fabrics are coming together for this project, but you’ll have to wait just a little longer to see what they become!

Mark your calendar, the week of September 11 is my big reveal!! I can’t wait to finally show you my block and tell you the story that inspired it.

This has been such a fun week seeing everyone’s first quilt stories and today is my day to share my first quilt!

I've teamed up with Purple Moose Designs, Tamarinis, and Swan Amity Studios to create The Curious Quilt Society!

We're already putting the finishing touches on our first fall program, and it's almost ready. Can't wait to share it with you!

Done! Did you guess? It's a giant quilted bow, designed by Lindsey Grace, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

The flag design was inspired by a flag bow Lindsey shared on her IG. I used the red, white, and blue prints from my Awakening fabric collection for Riley Blake Designs, making it the perfect addition to my summer décor. It came together so quickly... it was one of those projects that's just plain fun to make!

It turns out quilting is more than just making beautiful quilts.

Choosing fabrics, matching points, solving little design puzzles, and learning new techniques all give your brain a healthy workout. Add the friendships made along the way, and you've got one pretty amazing hobby.

Looks like every quilt is good for the heart and the mind.
