This Independence Day marks 250 years since the birth of a nation founded on faith, courage, sacrifice, and the determination to build something greater than ourselves.

Here at HR Ranch, we’re reminded every day that the best things in life don’t happen overnight. Healthy land, strong hives, and lasting traditions are built through patience, stewardship, and hard work, values that have defined America since 1776.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we’re grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the men and women who have defended them, and the opportunity to continue building a legacy for the next generation. The best is yet to come.

Well, we had a good news. Bad news kind of day at the ranch. Glad to see some wildlife. That was nice to enjoy a rain free day except our producing hive this year got infested with wax moths and destroyed the hive so that is a huge setback and to remove the hive from the apiary and I wasn’t able to survive the hive of the bees so we moved what I could over to neighboring hive and build their their numbers.

We took sometime off from the Ranch and the bees while they do their thing. Scenic Oak Creek beside the dining area at Briar Patch Inn. The mountain air, rushing creek, hummingbirds, and wildlife make this place feel unbelievably peaceful and restorative.

We here at H&R Ranch honor the fallen, those have given everything as the sacrifice for our freedoms we enjoy today.
