This is a long one, so please read through.
First, can we just say thank you Howland!! The last couple days have been a dream, you all have been so supportive, and we just loved every minute of serving this "World Class Community" We gained so many followers and made new friends in JUST 3 DAYS!! So awesome!!
BUT, today Howland Zoning relieved us of our position in the plaza. NOW, before we go bashing the Howland Township Government Agency, they were just doing their job.
Let us explain, since we run a Brick and Mortar store in the Howland Plaza, and Dirty Birdies is a line under Maison de Savon - Bath, Body, Beauty just like Melissa Ann Cosmetics, The Soap Sergeant and Bad Betty's Esthetics we understood it that as long as we had the proper licensing through the Trumbull County Combined Health Department(which we do) and permission from the management of The Howland Plaza Ownership(which we did) and we had the proper business licenses, insurances and permits when we opened MSD in Howland about 3 years ago, that we could service the community of Howland with our new line.
Unfortunately we were wrong, we apologize to all you Dirty Birdies for this snafu.
We have been told by Howland Zoning and the Howland Administrator that we can appeal their decision and apply for a variance at their next meeting June 17th.
Until then we will be operating outside the Howland Township Limits.
If you would like to attend the zoning meeting with us, it will be at 5:30pm WED June 17th and we can peacefully ask to continue serving our "World Class Community together.
