Our director of chaos, Chief, had surgery a couple of weeks ago and has decided that following doctor’s orders is apparently optional. 🙄🐶

I got home Saturday just in time to load him up and make an unexpected trip to the vet because he had a bulge where there definitely shouldn’t have been a bulge, along with some swelling and redness. 😬

The good news? The vet got him fixed up with antibiotics and pain meds and sent us back home.

The bad news? Chief has continued his mission of making poor life choices. 🤦‍♀️

Last night I noticed a couple of blisters that he decided to lick open this morning which earned him an all-inclusive stay at the Cone of Shame Resort. As you can see, he’s absolutely thrilled about it. 😂

So if you’ve messaged me about tumblers, don’t worry—I am still working on orders! Things are just moving a little slower while I spend my free time playing bodyguard and trying to keep this furry knucklehead from turning a simple recovery into a full-blown mission to do the opposite of what he was asked. 🐾 Please send some prayers as his mom is about to lose it!! 😅

Thank you all for your patience, and understanding while Chief figures out that healing is easier when you stop licking, chewing, and generally causing chaos. ❤️

Feel free to leave Chief some encouraging words (or tell him to quit being such a terrible patient). 😆🐶💙🍋

Well, Glen-Duh has decided she’s going to hatch more ducks. 🦆

Apparently the 15 we already hatched wasn’t enough. 😂

I have absolutely no idea how many eggs she’s got under her at this point. 🫣

Also… have you ever had a duck hiss and flare up at you? it’s a little terrifying. 😅

So we’re just going to let her have her moment and see what happens. 🤷‍♀️😂

We are going to cancel tonight’s Deal or No Deal because our country WiFi + storms are NOT a good combo. 🫣

We’re going to postpone Tumbler DoND until Thursday! 🙃

My nephew came to visit today and I wanted to soak up that time with him while he was here. 🥰

But don’t worryyyy… we’ll be back Thursday night for all the tumbler chaos, laughs, and fun 😎🥤
