First up: the moon.

๐ The noticeable partial eclipse gets underway around ๐ญ๐ฌ:๐ฏ๐ฏ ๐ฝ.๐บ.
๐ And the BIG moment comes around ๐ญ๐ฎ:๐ญ๐ฎ ๐ฎ.๐บ. Friday.
At maximum eclipse, roughly 96% of the moon will be inside Earth's dark shadow globally, creating an almost-total eclipse and potentially giving much of the moon that gorgeous reddish-orange โblood moonโ appearance.
And then things get even more interesting.

Geomagnetic storm watches are in effect following recent solar activity, with conditions potentially reaching G2 (Moderate) levels. If everything lines up, aurora could extend farther south than usual.
