Hey Cookie Crew,

I want to apologize to you all for having to cancel my attendance at recent markets. Interacting with my wonderful customers and other local businesses every week is one my favorite parts of this business. I pride myself in getting to know you all, your families, and our cookies being apart of your gatherings.

As some of you may have heard, this summer, my family found out we were expecting baby #3! It was a shock at first, given my history with complicated pregnancies, but quickly turned into excitement. We started planning, sharing the news, and thinking about how another sweet baby would be joining us at the market next year!

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, I began to miscarry, and after some complications, underwent surgery this past Friday to help my body begin the healing process.

After talking with my husband and doctor, I’ve decided to take a break from markets until further notice to allow my body and spirit time to heal.

I want to thank you for your continuous support and understanding during this difficult time. I hope to be back sharing cookies and other baked goods with you all soon!

Thanks to everyone who bought cookies this weekend, we were able to donate $434 to Convoy of Hope for disaster relief in the Texas Hill Country!

In there most recent update (2-days ago) Convoy of Hope had donated over 130,000lbs of supplies to people in Kerrville, San Saba, Marble Falls, Ingram, and Hunt - and their work continues.

As a small business it’s easy to feel like there is the little to nothing we can do to make a difference when disaster strikes, but I like to remind myself it’s those little steps that grow to make a big difference. These little steps we take wouldn’t be possible without you, so thank you again for being the best customers!🫶🏼

Together we raised almost $300 to go towards disaster relief for the floods in the Texas Hill Country! Think we can get it to $500?
