Baby Cash was born on May 3rd around 6:30 am. This was about 30 minutes after his birth. So agile and curious already!

So less than 12 hours after Poppy had Buster, Piper had a little boy! Robbie went out to feed at around 6:30 am, and she had just had him. He is a spitting image of his mom and such a cutie! We named him Cash, after the one and only Johnny Cash. 💙

Next update at Willow Oak Farm:
We were expecting another baby cow, so we had a camera pointed toward the pasture. While we were at our youngest son Corey's college graduation, we checked the camera and wouldn’t you know it, Poppy was in labor! We rushed home afterward and found her with a newborn baby boy. We named him Buster, after Union University's bulldog mascot, Buster. 💙

Time to catch up on some posting!
Never a dull moment at the farm!
Let's start with Maverick bringing not one, but two baby opossums up to the farmhouse. I guess the mother was traveling through with babies on her back, and Maverick scared her to death, causing these two to fall off. Needless to say, I had to rescue them. Go ahead and call me crazy, but I have to give them a fighting chance at survival, so I have been taking care of them until I think they are old enough to make it on their own. You have to admit, they are kind of cute!! I named them Lenny and Squiggy.
