My daughter had a kuromi themed birthday party yesterday and asked me to make chocolate cupcakes for it so that’s exactly what I did. I made triple chocolate cupcakes with homemade buttercream frosting that I colored pink and purple to match the toppers I bought. Everybody loved them, I was very happy with how they turned out 🥰

I got the stand mixer I really wanted for my birthday and I was very excited to use it so I made a red velvet cake with chocolate chips just to practice making buttercream and having something to put it on.
I made a cream cheese buttercream and decided to add pink coloring to it just because. Forgive the less than neat frosting job, I’m still perfecting my cake decorating skills 😂
