Located inside the historic former Walker County Jail, C.A.T. Café Bakery (Coffee, Art, Tea) blends Huntsville's rich history with creativity.
One of the café's most unique offerings is Margaret's Historic White Cake, created in partnership with the Sam Houston Memorial Museum. Based on extensive historical research, this heirloom recipe honors Margaret Houston's tradition of serving a special white cake to distinguished guests.
Whether you're stopping in for your morning coffee, meeting friends, or exploring downtown, you'll find something for everyone. The café offers more than 100 handcrafted beverages, including locally roasted coffee, specialty lattes, loose-leaf teas, matcha, chai, bubble tea, signature layered lemonades, and wellness-inspired drinks. Pair your favorite beverage with a selection of fresh pastries, cookies, paninis, and other light bites.
