Here ya go! This will be on the menu in another week or two!
Green beans & mushrooms
1 whole onion
1 container of mushrooms (or half a costco size container) Slice or pre sliced
2 bags frozen green beans or some big handfuls out of a costco size bag (we liked the costco frozen french beans)
Splash of white wine
Part of a sourdough loaf
In a nice deep pot (we used a deep cast iron):
1. Chop onion and cook in olive oil until they start to turn clear.
2. Add mushrooms and a good splash of white wine.
3. Let mushrooms cook a bit til they start to juice.
4. Add frozen green beans and some water.
5. Stir and let beans and everything cook for a bit on medium heat. Salt and pepper.
6. We covered and let everything cook up together.
While the pot cooks or before you start the pan:
1. Cut up sourdough in large, rough cubes.
2. Put in a pan and drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper.
3. Bake for a few minutes at 425 until crispy.
Serve beans on the side or add some chopped chicken or whatever you like as a main. Top with the crusty bread!
