Beautiful day at the ranch today.
A classmate Tammy Giroux (Schrag) I hadn't seen in 40 some years came out for a visit from Colorado. Brought her daughter Katie and her 2 precious daughters. It was so very nice to see and spend time catching up and playing with the animals 😊

The sun was barely stretching over the pasture this morning as the chickens decided it was time to rise and shine. A whole chorus of clucks, rustles, and feather‑fluffing rolled out of the coop like they were announcing revival hour.

There’s something about watching them tumble into the day. Curious and full of purpose....reminds me how simple faithfulness can be. Just show up. Just greet the morning. Just trust the light when it comes.

May your day start with that same gentle nudge toward hope, a little noise, and a whole lot of grace.

The gates swing wide in the evening glow,
Inviting the breeze as the soft winds blow.
A hush settles in where the pasture waits,
Peace walking in through the open gates.

The sky pours gold on the fading day,
Brushstrokes of grace in a fiery display.
And all of the land seems to celebrate
The freedom found in an open gate.

Here work meets rest in a holy blend,
