Ruby Road’s Cloudy’s litter is slowly transitioning over to solid feed. Today I caught both of them bellied up to the feeder! This is a good sign, meaning they are on track for weaning in the next couple weeks.
Typically I like to wean around 5-6 weeks of age, although I have successfully weaned at 4 weeks old.

We are trying something new this time! Hopefully this will help us make sure our mommas and kits are properly cared for....

I really appreciate this video of proper posing on Hollands! We are still figuring out the best way to get our animals relaxed and well trained. It does make a difference!
For the non-show person - this is a great visual of how we are trying to pose up our Hollands on the show table.

We have eyeballs! 🎉🎉 Both kits opened their eyes today on at 15 days of age. Rabbits will typically open their eyes at 10-20 days of age.
They were both snuggled in taking naps this afternoon! I think they were grumpy I woke them up 🫣🤷‍♂️
