What a great second day of presenting at Eastern Washington Homesteading Expo! We got all the way done in the class today! One person missing in the photo Karla Higby Stucker she had to go present. Everyone did wonderful!

And then I mixed the largest sourdough starter I’ve ever made… it will be 5 gallons by the time it’s ready! 🤪😝

Why? Because we are having an all you can eat pancake feed tomorrow before church!

Breakfast starts at 9:30 and church at 11:30 and then a pie social!

Can’t wait to see you all there!

What an incredible first day at the 2nd annual Eastern Washington Homestead Expo!

Successful homeschool program I heard something like almost 70 kiddos had the opportunity to come out and get their hands on all sorts of great info and activities! Not too shabby for the first time incorporating this into the expo!

We had a pretty good turnout for a Friday! Sold out of all our Cinnamon Raisin loaves on the first day! Don’t worry still have some Cinnamon raisin bagels and a few mini loaves 🥰

Our first teaching presentation for sour dough was a huge success, everyone got a chance to try their hands at shaping loaves and wow I was so impressed at how they turned out! Look at these beauties!

Hopefully next year we have more kiddos at the dance! But there were some fun dances going on and we were pooped by the time we got to crawl into bed last night 😮‍💨

So much walking, no doubt we got our steps in yesterday 🤣

Looking forward to seeing everyone toady! So amazing to talk to so many likeminded people!

Just keep baking, baking, baking!

Phew 😮‍💨 getting ready for the Eastern Washington Homestead Expo is definitely a labor of LOVE ❤️

My daughter and I have been working on all this delicious sourdough since Sunday!

A lot of early mornings and late nights and it’s finally coming together!

Can’t wait to see everyone there!

I love this! I have been so impressed with the sourdough community🥰 As an animal person for most of my life I’m used to people being pretty crazy. And having very strong opinions.🫣😂

But I love how the sourdough community is all about lifting each other up and sharing ideas and recipes and sharing each other on. Even people in the same community and selling space still work together as a team and it’s beautiful. 😍

Tried a new bagel bite recipe this morning! 🤤

OK, it wasn’t really a recipe. I just wrapped my bagel dough around a chunk of cream cheese and proceeded as normal.

But oh my goodness guys🤭 these will definitely be coming with us to all of the expos and markets this year❤️

Holidays are approaching quickly. We are excited to ramp up our sourdough season to help those in our community. Make sure that they have healthy fresh bread to serve all of their loved ones!

We plan to have all of the normal options available as well as some extra fun ones.

We will be opening pre-orders for Thanksgiving soon!
