I almost gave up on getting anything from our garden this year! If you have seen our yard you know we have mostly rock. Also my hen decided to start laying in the nesting box again yayyy. 1st time picking today not much but there is still so much growing.

It's been a rough few weeks. Finally getting better and back to daily chores. All my green beans I thought I planted I mis labeled and I am getting tons of cucumbers 😆 but we love cucumbers so it's a happy accident! Feels great to be making all our favorite goodies again.

Well our other mama finally started laboring tonight. So far 3 beautiful babies. She's still pushing. Can't wait to see how many she has..they are about the size of my hand.

40 eggs in the incubator, starting to hatch. Oh I miss the little peeps. Can not wait to see these beauties get bigger.black Cooper marans, easter Eggers, welsummer/Amerucana, olive Eggers, and ayam cemanis. 18 so far!

172 seeds planted for late summer and fall garden. I'm determined to have some sort if harvest. On the bright side my tomatoes are finally coming in and I'm so excited.

Trying to rebuild my chicken count, neighboring dog got all but 2 of my girls and 3 babies. Sucks they can't free roam anymore but I'd rather them be safe. Now got to find more buff orphingtons and lavender orphingtons.

When a local farmer offers to sell a box of greenbeans for $5 you take it! We are canning up these babies tonight. 1st time canning greenbeans and we are thrilled.

We have 7 baby piglets and more due any day! Lmk if your looking for a baby they will be ready in 2-3 weeks or so unless you bottle feed them.
