She is so dirty, and hard to get pictures of because she likes to be right by me 🤣 I can’t wait to see how this girl matures! And yes, she still needs a name so if you have any good ideas drop them in the comments!

This gorgeous girl is definitely the one that got away! I loved her from the moment she was born and knew she was going to mature to be absolutely beautiful ❤️I cannot wait to see the calves she produces for her owners!

The boys did great with their first halter lesson tonight! I always work with them with the halter just being around their face for several days to let them get use to it so that it is easy to slip the halter right on. My goal is for my calves to be easy to halter for their new families, and doing it this way has worked very well for me so far.

These two heifers are our last available babies. Both are RCM Mighty Murphy granddaughters, both are 75% Highland and expected to mature smaller midsize 44” or under. Both do have crop ear, it is cosmetic and will not affect them at all.

I have been MIA lately it seems, but life has been busy! Our son’s wedding was last weekend, and our oldest daughter was in town for it and took some great pictures for us when we visited the cows on pasture. There are many more that I will share later, I also included a couple pictures of the groom and bride at the end!

At nearly 6 months old this beautiful girl still was not growing horns, so I sent off testing to UC Davis. She has come back as Polled! I am beyond excited as I prefer polled, I thought her sire Max was horned even though they were shorter than I thought they should have been but apparently they were extra long scurs!

I don’t know how this beautiful girl is still looking but she is! I expect her to have nice, long hair like her momma come this fall. She is friendly and loves back scratches and will be started on the halter at weaning.

This year we decided to use Oliver from Creekside Highland Haven for AI on our girls, he is a beautiful bull and his first calves are exactly what we are wanting to breed for. We used heifer semen, he is chondro positive but we are hoping for at least one non chondro heifer to keep back for ourselves. Now we pray that they all take!❤️

Either of these guys would make excellent bull prospects or pet steers! They both will mature small. If I needed another bull I would absolutely grab the highpark boy!
