So, was trying to find a coop for the porch for the older chicks to go into that have outgrown the brooder. Well couldn't find the right fit, so I saw a lot of people putting their chicks in small tents. Ventilation, space, waterproof floors, sold. Got one, out the pine pellet bedding in the bottom, fresh food, and water, out the older chicks in there, they are having the time of their lives. They aren't quite big enough to my liking to go outside to the rest of the flock just yet, BUT they can definitely stay in the tent in my livingroom. 😂😂 Yes I am aware that I am crazy. Switched the next batch of chicks to the bigger brooder bc they too needed a bit more space. Fresh bedding, fresh food and water, they too are enjoying their new found space. Thennnnn the tiny batch of babies, moved from the cage set up, to the next size up brooder. Fresh bedding, fresh water. Again, time of their life. From the sounds of it, I think they are all happy, I hope. Chirping away. Time to turn out the lights, except for their heat and take my b***y to bed. I'm pooped. I'm feeling accomplished. Pooped, but accomplished. Goodnight.
