Moeckly Farms Moeckly Farms was homesteaded in 1854. We are an 8th generational farm located in Polk County, Iowa. Also the home of Moeckly Ballfield, LLC.

We grow commerical/seed corn, soybeans, White Park cattle and custom forge harvesting.

Nick and I spent the afternoon up at the ballfield mowing and prepping field for the last weekend of events up there for the 2026 season. Hard to believe this is the same John Deere lawnmower I mowed with when pregnant with Nick and we lived up here at this house. Was kinda fun driving her today thinking about all the fun memories we had raising kids here. Time flies.
Yes- these implements that Nick is using on field are engineered right here at farm, by the guys. First one was “mini cultivator” - loosens and cuts the weeds off so then we can use second implement - the nail drag. That smooths out the field and makes it all pretty 😍

Happy Friday. 🐮 Be like Blanche. Be happy and carefree. Know your worth and take up space. 😊 She did not waste any time coming up to the Gator when she saw us. First in line and never left. Had to finally gentle guide her aside to give our other friends a chance to graze their “mobile charcuterie tray”.

Friday at the fair, we ran into a student from the school that I work in. She said to her Grandma-I think the calf should be named Vivi- after me! I think it was meant to be, folks. This Vivian has the darkest eyes and longest, darkest lashes just like our sweet pea at the farm and they are both just petite lil things! 😍 Introducing Miss Vivi.

Yesterday, we spent the day at the ISF making the best of the soggy weather 😊 Truly thankful for these moments we have to reminisce about years from now. We left with our hearts full and our bellies even fuller. Boys were stopped by the news reporter from Newsmax as we were walking through sow barn. She asked if they were triplets, nope. 😊 My Three Sons. Thank you Lord for these three very precious blessings.
