Northern Moraine WRD operates with an underlying duty to protect public health and the environment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. To continue treating wastewater in a safe and efficient manner, the District will be closed to visitors to prevent the spread of COVID-19, effective immediately. Specifically, the District office lobby and drive-up window at 113 Timber Trail will be closed until April 1, 2020. This decision will help alleviate the spread of the virus and ultimately protect our frontline employees who perform crucial work to ensure that wastewater is treated effectively, day in and day out.

The District remains available to answer questions by phone during regular business hours.

We are encouraging all our rate payers to make payments online or by mailing payments to PO Box 240, Island Lake, IL 60042.
