✨🌍✨Come for the day or camp out (free of charge) for the weekend, lend much appreciated HelpingHands around the farm, and celebrate EARTH DAY with us in April!

✨🌍✨We will have a number of projects to pitch in on:
*Garden Cleanup
*Agroforestry inventory, cleanup, and re-staking
*Helping to Hang the barn door
*Building and transporting picnic tables and benches

✨🌍✨Accommodations will be different camping options ~ Meals will be food share & communal.

✨🌍✨Campfires and starry skies at night (if the heavens say it's so...!)
Bring your musical instruments and art supplies to play during our non-work hours.

🌞Hey there everyone~ the critters and I are sending some sunny February vibes your way!
Beyond wanting to share photos of this 🌞warm & bright🌞 afternoon, I wanted to let you know the dates for gatherings on the farm this season!

More information about each weekend will be forthcoming, but here's an overview so you can mark your calendars!

🌞April 21st - 23rd
Earth Day Volunteer Weekend & Campout: Come for the day or camp out for the weekend and celebrate EARTH DAY with us in April! We will have a number of projects around the barn and in the agroforestry corridors to focus on!

🌞June 23rd - 25th
Summer Solstice Retreat & Campout: Rooted in Phoenix Farm's Speed of the Land Somatic Healing framework, this weekend will be an opportunity to tune in, connect in, and allow your body, heart, mind, & spirit to reset and reconnect. Guest yoga teacher, musicians, and healing practitioners will be adding into our weekend together!

🌞Sept 22nd - 24th
Autumn Equinox Retreat & Campout:
Marking the turn to autumn, this weekend will be similar in to the Summer Solstice description above.

Natural Dye Workshop: We look forward to welcoming our friend and textile designer back this season to continue teaching Natural Dyeing technique. More information on dates coming soon!

❄️Winter Storm Dreaming❄️
It's been ice-snowing all day...making a step onto the front porch a winter debut of my ice skating skills...(or lack thereof lol).
But the heavy hush and quiet of winter is arriving.... staking out space to ask from a new depth, "What is the Next Dream? What and who and whereis currently inspired by and to?"
What is the Land dreaming of?
What does my soul really, truly want?
What and How do we conjure Joy in this World?
How do we repair? How do we contribute in a good way?
Where are We All going?
Some of these questions, the answers- can't be imagined by just one... but of the ones that I can glimmer and sketch- dance and play with- the ones that I can call in and call out to- I find myself stretching late at night in sober conversation with myself and the Great They...
What of this middle age? What of this collective era? What of our joy and grief...?
And earnestly, and as clearly as I can I listen. With as little judgement or assumption as possible... I listen and aim to soak up what is clear, and place it in the pocket of my heart & the vision board in my mind.
Solstice is coming and these seeds of dreams, these glimmers of Future Life and the need for Joy are grumbling and tumbling in my Bear-Belly-Core as I catch the winter Starlight...and practice Remembering and Unbridled Imagining.

✨🌿 Beautiful milkweed over the Autumn Equinox + Rosh Hashanah + the Libran New Moon. (part III)
A cluster of softness and life. A puff of sustenance and nourishment. Mighty parachutes of promises and the dreams of next season-- waiting.
Waiting for the wind to carry forward...to weave itself into the new ground for sleep, for snow, for darkness, for rest...as spring will come, and its entirety will succomb, surrender to the next generation, the next iteration of being.
But for now- beauty and being and rest. Beauty and being and rest and surrender to the Dream Time.
And for now- beauty and being and rest.
