I got my cookies into Taste NY at Grand Central Station. The child me would be doing backflips right now. Nyc felt like a far away dream in childhood— and being from a small country town in Ohio will definitely make the city seem larger than life.

And now I’m selling my product in THE Grand Central Station.

This video is meant to be comedic so dont take it too seriously, but yes. There have been periods of time over the years where I’ve been in a death battle with my GF/Vegan cookie recipe. I can now confidently say that I’ve truly perfected the recipe.

They’re soft, gently sweet, have a nice outer crunch to them, and are approved by our very own Anna R. Kelles if you ever ate them during a time where they were (lowkey shxt) then I implore you, try them again. For me 🥹 and for your tastebuds.

I went to a Lansing, NY town board meeting on the proposed Terawulf 150 megawatt data center.

People came out in droves to speak against it, not one single resident or community member having anything positive to say about the data center.

The only person who spoke in favor was the Terawulf vice president of development.

The board decided to move forward with proposing a law to ban data centers in the area. It was really cool to see what we CAN do in our community, using our words and showing up for our natural world.

Come decked out in your best costume, and get ready to party!! $5 at door buys you a cookie and entry. Find the cookies at the bar and yes, you can buy more. This is also a fundraiser, so you are ENCOURAGED to buy more cookies or donate more at the door.

Costume contest at 11pm.

I’ll admit it, I move with urgency in the kitchen. The urgency to get out. 🤣 Hey, the faster I bake, the more time I have to paint, watch anime, ponder the meaning of life, decide on whether or not I’ll take one for the team and run for office, plot on faking my death, leaving the country, moving to a remote island, becoming one with nature, pretending this life never existed..

Anaya’s just there to get a paycheck and make delicious cookies she believes in.

Did it take me actual years to create this Gluten Free/Vegan and nut-free recipe that tastes better than a cookie with butter and egg? Yes. Those who know my GF cookies from back in 2022 know that I battled with texture— they’d look great, but the second you bit into them they’d combust! (Thanks for bearing with me, friends.)

Turns out gluten is a binding agent, which means when you remove it, the cookies fall apart. And guess what? So are butter and eggs! So I removed every single binding agent… and thus commenced my battle.

I’ve since tested and tried the recipe for literal years, researching new ingredients, testing different baking powders, and adding more and more molasses. LOL. If you think you taste molasses, you do. Even recently, I had to tinker with baking time and temperature, so that when they are frozen, they come out of the freezer and thaw into a soft cookie, as opposed to a ROCK. Baking is a serious science.

This is the best my GF/V cookies have ever tasted and felt. If you ever consumed them in the past and were dissatisfied—I’m sorry—I’ve fixed them now. Give them another shot. I promise you will be impressed and wanting more.
