Shaking things up at STEAM Night! 🧈🐮

CUDS had a wonderful time visiting South Hill Elementary School for their STEAM Night! Our members helped students in Pre-K through 5th grade turn heavy cream into butter while learning about the science behind one of our favorite dairy products! 🥛

Thank you to South Hill Elementary for inviting us to share our love of dairy and agriculture with the next generation! ❤️🐄

CUDS takes on Wisconsin! 🐄🧀

Last week, our members traveled to Madison, Wisconsin for World Dairy Expo and several industry and farm tours! Throughout the week, members had the opportunity to watch some of the best dairy cattle in the world compete at Expo, connect with industry professionals, and learn more about the many opportunities within the dairy industry.

Outside of Expo, our group visited UW–Madison, met with the USDA Farm Loan team, and toured Koepke Farms, Zweig’s Maple Acres, Trans Ova Genetics, and Siemers Holsteins. From dairy research and genetics to farm management and robotic milking, each stop gave our members a chance to see different parts of the dairy industry firsthand.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to host, speak with, and educate our members throughout the trip. We are incredibly grateful for another opportunity to learn, travel, and make connections through CUDS! 🐮❤️

Until next time, Wisconsin!
