In another post about stuck heads...someone mentioned the Plunger of Shame.
Yes...that happened on our ranch many years ago...
Our son, now grown and moved away, had installed many a crown of shame on this doe, who preferred to spend more time stuck in the fence than not. Finally, exasperated, he took it up a notch, and applied the plunger. 😂🤣😅
Imagine our surprise when we saw the plunger parading across the pasture. When questioned about the selection of a plunger rather than stick, he said it only made sense. If she wanted to be a $ #@%head, it was appropriate that she wear a plunger. Fair enough.
She is no longer an offender - probably because her horns have gotten too long...or maybe because the plunger finally invoked enough shame...
