I’ve given it a lot of thought!
And… I’ll be offering hoof trimming for pigs.

Pricing goes as listed:

$20- Per head for Pigs under 60lbs.
$30- Per head for Pigs over 60lbs.
$45- Per head for Pigs over 150lbs.

Who needs a pigs done?
Travel around Ivor, but will drive around and an 1 out. Fee for travel, if it’s under three head.

Why do I like using a hoof rasp?
Here’s an example on this set. When, some parts grow longer than others, you can/have to cut them differently and the hoof rasp helps to level that out, so, those pockets and indifferences don’t cause more issues.

Color coded hooves.. one was excluded, cause the goat was just done after, the first three.

Hoof trimming is important! So, I wanna make a deal!

From December 2nd, to the 30th! I will be giving a discount on trimming services.
All hooves will be equal NO matter, difficulty, condition, or size. This an offer you don’t wanna miss! Here’s pricing…

$10 per animal- for less than 6 head.
$8 per animal- for 6 or more head.

This pricing does not include travel fee, if over 30 minutes from current location. But, if you decide to get services done in a group with other customers near, we don’t have that fee. If it’s a lone call, or less than 5 animals or is 30+ min drive, yes.

I’ve been trimming for 4 years. I’ve had goats, since I was twelve and have even done cattle hooves. I’m very passionate about animal health and that’s one reason I started this.
I also prodice tips and tricks, etc to help important hoof maintenance in your herd through diet, housing, and other important improvements.

Located in Ivor, Va. I travel towards Smithfield, Franklin, Surry, Suffolk, etc.

In need of a young drake that is gonna beef up your smaller girls and make those babies grow?

Well, I’ve got one for you. He’s around three months old. Still has some baby feathers and is already huge. White head will probably fill out more, only reason I’m not keeping this handsome fellow! He’s a love bug too! This is not me fattening him up either, he’s not on a crazy amount of protein just standard feed. Great for a homesteader needing a nice boy!!

Hoof Care in your Herd?

What should I do? What does ‘—‘ look like? What causes it?

Well, sometimes it’s hard to get an answer, so I’m gonna help. This short post is gonna give you some info and tips on caring for your herd’s health. Because, without an animal’s feet, it wouldn’t be able to move and thrive.

Here are some pictures with helpful info to anyone!

Keep those hooves clipped and cleaned, also don’t be afraid to smell them!
