Meet our Black Angus herd! 🌾 Angus cattle originated in Scotland and are naturally polled, meaning they’re born without horns. They’re known for marbling, the little flecks of fat within the muscle that contribute to beef’s flavor, juiciness, and tenderness.

Each one has a name and a personality all their own! From the curious ones who come right up to say hello to the quieter ones who hang back, their little quirks make every member of the herd unique and we sure do love them all! 🖤

🚜 Happy National Farmers Day! 🌾

Today we’re celebrating the heart behind Mullet Black Angus, Chris Howell!

If there’s one thing you should know about Chris, it’s that he puts his whole heart into everything he does, especially his cattle and this farm. The long days, hard work, and sacrifices are all worth it to him because this is more than just farming. It’s a dream he’s worked tirelessly to turn into a reality.

There’s nothing quite like watching someone do what they truly love, and Chris is living proof that hard work, determination, and a whole lot of heart can make dreams come true.

We’re so proud of what he’s building and the passion he pours into it every single day!

And a special shoutout to Michael and “Pudge” at Itata Farms! We’re incredibly grateful for the guidance, encouragement, support, and friendship you’ve given Chris along the way. Having good people in your corner who are willing to share their knowledge and help you succeed means more than words can say.
