As a team, we gave our employees two options, for me to host a holiday dinner party after work or take part in some team building experiences by packing meals for the needy. It was a unanimous decision to participate in our 2nd annual traditional holiday party at the food bank followed up with a team lunch before heading back to work for the afternoon. It’s rewarding, it’s meaningful and it’s creating a good deed for those in need. This is what our culture is all about at Natures Best Seafood. Doing good by others matters. It teaches team work as we support one another and feels good to participate ensuring hungry men, women and children get fed and seeing their smiles beam is enough for us to want to do more. We won’t be waiting until next holiday season to do this again…it will become a regular opportunity for our team to take an extended lunch to serve our city. I challenge every company to support our local food pantries. Together, let’s be apart of doing something much bigger than focusing on ourselves and to show up for our community members who are in need. Together, we can make a difference. Natures Best Seafood showed up. I hope your company considers doing the same!
