Meet the Family Behind Cove & Coop! 🐔
Welcome to Cove & Coop! We’re so excited to introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse of the hardworking family behind our farm. Our farm focuses on selling chicken/quail eggs & hatchlings, along with our Betta fish.
We’re the Wuenstel family — a bunch of nature lovers and animal enthusiasts, with five homeschooled daughters who help us bring our farm to life every day. Whether it’s collecting eggs, feeding the quail, or tending to our betta fish, our girls are right there alongside us, learning about the cycles of nature, the joys of micro-farming, and the responsibility that comes with caring for animals.
Our journey started with raising chickens, and over time, we’ve expanded to include a variety of farm animals and aquaculture. Our family has shown (and placed) chickens and sheep! We now raise quail, chickens, and we proudly care for our beautiful fish. Each animal plays an important part in our farm's foundation, and we’re passionate about raising them in an ethical, environmentally friendly way. We also share our home with many rescue animals, including our one-eyed wonder, Max the dachshund!
Running Cove & Coop is truly a family affair. Every day is a new adventure — from the crow of the roosters at dawn to the playful meows of our cats and the wagging tails of our dogs. 🐾 Our farm is a mix of peaceful routines and joyful chaos, with everyone pitching in to help make sure every animal is well cared for.
As a homeschooling family, we’re grateful that our daughters get to experience the beauty of farm life up close. It’s not just about raising animals, but about growing together — in knowledge, love, and the simple joy of being outdoors. 🌞
