On March 27, 2024 on Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar page we, the owner-managers, posted an announcement that Munchies is planning to host weekend fun activities and events for participation by those who support Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar- Family and friends and other supporters and patrons.. We asked you to choose from among a list of events, which included (1) card games, (2) dominoes, (3) bingo, (4) karioke. It is now May 7, 2024, over a month later and we have received no responses for choices. Therefore, we believe that you want us to makre the choices of the order in which Munchies will host these weekend events or activities. So, the choice we make is to host a Dominoes Competition with players playing independently at a table where they are in competition with each other. The individual who wins the most games of dominoes will received a substantial cash prize. You must register and pay an entry fee. Black History Weekend Special
On Saturday, 10 February 2024 from 10:30 am - 6 pm Munchies Cafe & Sports Grill will be grilling from the Patio Grill featuring Jerk Chicken for this Black History Month Weekend. Jerk Chicken is, of course, a food originating via the Afrian cooking techniques introduced by the Maroons to Jamaica. Other grilled foods will also be prepared including chili, burgers, ribs, smoke sausages, hot dogs with or without chili. Also, food from the standard menu is also available. Prices range from $5.99 to $8.99, plus tax with one or two available sides. Munchies Cafe is located at 2487 Old US Highway 64, Jamesville (Dardens), NC 27846. Come by and enjoy the grill. Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar opened on 28, 29, & 30 December 2023 after a 6-month reorganization period. Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar also opened on 4, 5, & 6 January 2024. This two-week period allowed management to assess and prepare for the dining needs of current and future patrons. Thank you for supporting us during those two weeks. We are now now prepared to
offer our diners good food in a sanitary environment and relaxing atmosphere. Munchies Cafe is now opened to be a permanent establishment in the Community of Dardens, NC to serve Martin County, NC; Washington County, NC; Bertie County, NC; Beaufort County, NC; and Pitt County, NC., their municipalities and surrounding areas. Munchies will open for Brunch (Breakfast & Lunch) from 10:30 am - 6 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on Thursdays thru Saturdays from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm for Brunch and from 3 pm -7 pm for the Sports Bar where sports fans, family and friend can get together and boast about their favorite sports pastime. From the Sports Grill you can order your favorite flavor of wings and of course, burgers, fries and drinks.

Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar opened for business on Thursday, 28 December 2023 for three days in the last week of December. Munchies again opened o Thursday, Friday, and Satruday - 4, 5, & 6 January 2024. Many thanks to the diners who stopped by and supported us during those six days we opened. Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar is now open indefinitely. We will be open five (5) days per week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays.
The opened hours for Tuesdays and Wednesdays are Brunch (Breakfast & Lunch available): 10:30 am - 6:00 pm; On Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays Brunch is from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm followed by Sports Bar time from 3 pm - 7 pm. You may dine at the Munchies Cafe dininig area; take orders to go, order & pick-up, or order for delivery. Call-in orders-pick-up, or delivery at 252-741-9392.

Welcome Back Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar Supporters,
Last week Munchies was open for business on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday-28, 29, & 30 December 2023. featuring our Breakfast , Brunch and Sports Bar menus. For breakfast, from 6:30 to 10:30 am, Munchies served the standard pancakes, meat, eggs & potatoes style with additional breakfast choices. For Brunch, from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm, Munchies continued with breakfast, but added choices of burgers, smothered chicken, and vegetable sides. On all three days during the time for the Sports Bar menu, from 3 pm to 7 pm, we served chicken wings, burgers and fries. On Saturday, the Fifth Day of Kwanzaa, celebrating Nia (Purpose) we added goat stew to reflect African traces as African-Americans and for other people who came and joined us in the recognition of the purpose of African-Americans as a People, as reflected in the principle Nia. With that entre we served the sides collard greens, red beans and rice, and mac & cheese. Also on the Saturday menu we served fried chicken and meat loaf. Many thanks to those who came out to support our Grand Re-opening.
The Grand Re-opening continues. Munchies Cafe & sports Bar will again open on the three days,Thursday, Friday, and Saturday-4, 5, & 6 January 2024. Happy New Year to all! I know there was a lot to celebrate in your lives in the past year 2023. As Munchies, we are grateful for our blessings. Once again, please stop by during the same times at Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar and indulge in our Breakfast, Brunch,and Sports Bar menus. We serve the standard breakfast menu that continues through Brunch until 2:30 pm. For lunch we are serving meat loaf and fried chicken and barbecue sandwiches and sandwich plates; All come with choice of sides. Welcome to the Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar page.
A new source of relaxed dining and social enjoyment has come to the idyllic community of Dardens, which is part of the community of Free Union, both unincorporated geographical communities of the incorporated community of Jamesville Township, NC in Martin County, NC. Dardens is appproximately 5 miles east of Jamesville and 5 miles west of Plymouth, NC, which is in Washington County, NC.
Munchies Cafe & Sports bar will open for business initially for three (3) days on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 28, 29 and 30 December 2023 and the following week on the same days, and is hosting a Grand Opening Event on those days. Munchies will provide opportunities for residents and travelers locally from Martin, Washington, Beaufort, Pitt counties and as well as from other municipalities nationally to enjoy a meal and a relaxed atmosphere to and from their traveling destinations while away from home.
Following the two weeks of opening for the three days for strategic planning reasons, Munchies Cafe and Sports Bar will be open from Tuesday thru Saturday from 6:30 am – 10:30 am for Breakfast, 11:00 am – 2:30 pm for Brunch and from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm for the Sports Bar on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Munchies will be closed on Sundays and Mondays until further notice. The sports bar will provide the opportunity to watch your favorite sports events on a big screen TV. Food served during Sports Bar period from 3 pm until 8 pm will include succulent chicken wings of various styles, chicken legs, chicken breasts served with french fries or onion rings. There will also be hamburgers with fries and Munchies Cafe's own Munchy Burger, with its own unique sauce and turkey-beef combination.
In the not-too-distant-future Sundays will be reserved for Sunday Dinners after church, beginning at 1 pm and ending at 6 pm. For each Sunday in the month there will be a different Sunday Dinner, which will again be served on the same Sunday of the following months. There will be variety in Sunday Dinners each month throughout the year.
Also, plans are being considered to serve culturally-appropriate food during the months honoring the various ethnicities in the USA. Munchies Cafe will serve meals associated with each ethnic group month that includes African-American (Black) History Month, Juneteenth, Kwanzaa Celebrations, Hispanic History Month, Asian History Month, and others, including Saint Patrick's Day, Native American Month and Indigenous Peoples Day.

We will be honored to provide the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere at Munchies Cafe & Sports Bar and to serve the food dictated by the vote of your taste buds. We will be honored to have you as our guests. Remember, Munchies is "The Place To Be."
