This sweet girl recently came to us at Eggy Farms and she is the best mother. She looks a little rough but as my friend Trisha Blanton-Drogich said, she is the definition of motherhood. 🫶🏽 She loves her babies and takes such good care of them and I am so proud of her! She may look a little rough but what mother doesn’t at times?

Also, no she is not a Showgirl Silkie/Naked Neck. She is Satin Frizzle Silkie just missing some feathers, that will hopefully grow back.

If anyone has any produce that’s a little too old for you to eat but it’s not necessarily rotten please keep my pigs in mind 🫶🏽 they love produce treats and don’t care if it’s a little wrinkly!

‼️Eggy Farms will be having some roosters for rehoming in the next few weeks. I love all of our chickens, but unfortunately I cannot keep all the roosters. If your flock is needing a rooster please reach out via text 812-564-0733. These are well loved birds and are not aggressive. Most of them are still small but fully feathered. Some perks to adding a rooster to your flock: Roosters help keep your flock safe from predators and help with hen pecking order. You can have multiple roosters in a flock depending on flock size. If you want more information on adding a rooster to your flock let me know.‼️
