Pandora's Jar Homestead 🦄 Our goal is to preserve heritage breeds, including the ancient Cane Corso. Our AKC & ICCF-registered Corsi actively work on our farm.

We also have Sebastopol geese a threatened breed and Berkshire pigs, prized for their premium-quality pork.

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve shared these faces, and they’ve done a whole lot of growing!

9 weeks old and officially time for a glow up.

At Pandora’s Jar Homestead, our focus has never been simply producing Cane Corsos. We want to preserve what this breed was intended to be—a versatile, capable working guardian with the temperament, instinct, confidence, and athleticism to do the job.

These puppies have been raised with real farm life around them from the beginning, giving us the opportunity to watch their natural instincts and individual temperaments develop.

We’re incredibly proud of how this litter is turning out and excited to watch them continue to grow into the dogs they were bred to be.

5 Weeks Old!!!

These puppies are definitely finding their feet! So many pictures were nothing but little blurs because they were too busy bouncing around. Even our little runt was right in there keeping up with her brothers and sisters.

Their personalities are really starting to shine, and each one is showing us more about what kind of family, job, or future might be the right fit for them.

And there may be a few things happening behind the scenes that we're not quite ready to announce yet… Some puppies are being held back by us, while others have been placed with family to begin exploring specific jobs, training, or competition possibilities. There are a lot of options, and we're perfectly happy keeping them all if that's where they belong.

We're new breeders, but we're very intentional about this. This isn't about money or producing puppies for the sake of producing puppies. We want to preserve the Cane Corso as the versatile, athletic working breed it was originally intended to be in Italy.

We don't breed for size—we breed for sound, capable dogs that meet the standard.

For now, we're just enjoying watching these little guys grow into who they're meant to be.

It's the simple things. Every day that I get to enjoy my dream house with my sweet dogs and a good cup of coffee is a good day!

4 Week Puppy Update

These babies are 4 weeks old already, and they have officially doubled in size! The boys are weighing in at an impressive 7 pounds at just 4 weeks old, and the girls aren’t too far behind.

They’re getting those little paws firmly on the ground now and becoming much more adventurous. They’re exploring, learning, and starting to experience what it’s like growing up around the livestock. Every day they’re getting a little more confident, curious, and coordinated.

They still have plenty of growing to do, but it’s amazing to see how quickly they’re changing!

Out of this litter, only 2 puppies are available to consider a new home when they’re ready to leave Mom. The rest already have their futures planned.

We can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring!
