Guess we’re due for another update!! 😉 In just the last month… in addition to our 15 new chickies, we also took in the most darling horse named “Rosa” & just birthed our very first calf yesterday (“Merlin”). Momma & baby boy are doing wonderfully. Lots of excitement here!! 💙

UPDATE: Many of you know, we’re still on a break from supplying eggs to our community, as our hens couldn’t keep up with our own family’s needs for the last few months. After a long fall/winter break, our girls are finally laying eggs daily again! 🥳 We’re currently storing away as many eggs as we can, so our fam can make it through next winter, but we hope to be back in excess again soon, so we can have a surplus to share! We’re also excited to announce (in an effort to soon have more eggs available), we’re raising up 15 new chicks to join the crew! 🐥

We’ll be sure to make another announcement in the coming month or two when we have eggs available again!! Thanks so much for your patience and support 💙

I swear these chickens eat better than us! 😆 In addition to their regular fermented feed and daily free range time, they’re always getting mealworms for extra protein, crushed egg shells for calcium, and lots of tasty scraps. Today, it’s: pumpkin & cucumber doused in apple cider vinegar, oregano, red pepper, garlic, basil, thyme & electrolytes, as well as apple/zucchini ice cubes as a fun treat for this heat. They may be spoiled, but I like to think of it as a “thank you” for all those tasty eggs 🥚♥️
